‘Hey Google, talk like a Legend.’
Back at Google’s 2018 I/O developers conference, Google gave everyone a preview of John Legend’s voice on Google Assistant. From the beginning, Google said it was for a limited time. On March 23rd the preview will end so you only have a few weeks to test it out. I’ve enabled it off and on throughout the year. Sometimes it’s good to switch things up.
Today, we’re passing the mic to John Legend as he makes a cameo as the newest voice on your Google Assistant. Just say ”Hey Google, #TalkLikeALegend” → https://t.co/bjYXLGXl5F #HeyGoogle pic.twitter.com/bzJ2ejT7nU

Google also didn’t say if Issa Rae’s voice was going away either. Her preview started late last year and will probably end this year around the same time
John’s voice doesn’t completely replace the default one. Though, he is able to answer quite a few commands. To enable his voice just say, “Hey Google, talk like a Legend.” For those of you wondering, he does sing quite a bit. Enjoy it while it lasts there aren’t many celebrity previews and it’s always good to have options.
