Hey guys, Mr.Technology here, and today we have some juicy leaks on the highly anticipated OnePlus folding phone! According to a report by Digital Trends, we may have just gotten our first look at the device via some leaked renders.
Now, as we all know, foldable phones are all the rage right now. We’ve seen some amazing innovations from Samsung and Huawei in this space, and as a OnePlus fan, I’m super excited to see what they bring to the table with the OnePlus V Fold.
So, what can we glean from these leaked renders? Well, if they’re accurate, it looks like the OnePlus folding phone will feature an inward folding design, similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Google Pixel Fold. The device appears to have a large, uninterrupted display when opened up, and when folded, there’s a smaller secondary display that shows notifications and other pertinent information.
Interestingly, as Digital Trends points out, the renders also suggest that the OnePlus foldable may not have a front-facing camera – at least not in traditional form. It’s possible that the device could use the rear cameras for selfies or have an under-display camera, like we’ve seen on the ZTE Axon 20 5G.
Of course, as with any leaked renders, we have to take this information with a grain of salt. It’s possible that these images are just placeholders or concepts that won’t make it to the final product. But regardless, I’m excited to see more from OnePlus in this space.
So, what do you all think of these supposed OnePlus folding phone renders? Are you excited to see what the company has in store for us? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
