Chromecasts back at Amazon

The Chromecast is a direct competitor to Amazon Fire Stick and Fire TV streaming media players. Amazon sells competing products from many other manufacturers but for the better part of a year the Chromecasts have been MIA from the online retail giant.  This started around the time YouTube was pulled and suppor was removed from Amazon’s Fire family of devices. Now, the Chromecast is once again available from Amazon.

You can purchase the latest Chromecast or the Chromecast Ultra 4K for $35 and $69 which are there normal prices. Both are sold and shipped directly from Amazon so Prime customers can get them with 2 day shipping.

We may never know the full story of why this happened or why they are now back in stock. Googles Pixelbooks and Pixel Slate have always been sold by Amazon, so it may be that they didnt want the competition.

You can pick up one of the latest Chromecasts at the links below. We will keep you posted if more comes to light.
