Another day another smartTv with Chromecast support. Visio’s upgrade to their SmartCast includes better support for Google Assistant and Google Chromecast-enabled apps. It now allows seamless control with Google Assistant. This update should be coming to all Visio TVs running SmartCast 2.

Apps will continue to be added to SmartCast Home, Visio’s on-screen smart TV experience. Vizio will also add Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, Vudu, iHeartRadio, CBS All Access, NBC, and more.
SmartCast 3.0 also includes VIZIO WatchFree, the completely free streaming service that provides access to live news, sports, movies, TV shows, viral videos, concerts, and more all without the expense of monthly subscriptions or transaction fees. WatchFree is easily accessible via a dedicated input and is also located on the SmartCast Home screen.
