The cheaper Pixel Slate is ready for pick up
The Lenovo Ideapad Duet is proof that anything good will sell if it’s priced right. After its release its been in high demand with short supply. Even Lenovo’s own website hasn’t listed the Chrome OS tablet for purchase yet.
Budget computers have been going out of stock since the world shifted to working from home. Since the Duet was released at about the same time, stock sold out in just a few days. The popularity of this item definitely exceeded Lenovo’s expectations.
Fortunately, the wait is over and Best Buy has them in stock right now and in some places ready for pickup. The price is $299 for the 128GB version.
Duet Specs:
Update: Walmart.com has the Lenovo Ideapad Duet as well. The only problem is that it’s the 64GB base model and it’s $349. That’s $50 more than Best Buy’s 128GB model.

Since the Duet is a good mash-up of price and what should be a good performance, it has the potential to be one of the be a great tablet. I still haven’t made a final verdict on that but during my first look at this device, I was extremely impressed. The speed and overall build quality go far beyond its current price tag.
